About CalcIndia

CalcIndia is a free online calculator website built for people in India. We help you estimate loan EMIs, mutual fund SIP returns, income tax under the old and new regime, GST amounts, fixed deposit maturity, post office scheme returns, and dozens of other everyday calculations — without signup, without fees, and without installing an app.

Why we built CalcIndia

Financial decisions in India often involve specific rules: home loan rates from SBI or HDFC, FY 2025-26 tax slabs, PPF and SSY post office rates, GST at 5/12/18/28%, and land measured in acres, cents, or guntha. Generic global calculators miss this context. CalcIndia focuses on Indian rates, units, and regulations so you get numbers that are relevant to your situation.

What we offer

  • Loan calculators — EMI, home loan, and car loan with interest breakdown and year-wise schedules
  • Tax & GST tools — income tax old vs new regime comparison and GST add/remove calculator
  • Investment calculators — SIP, fixed deposit, and post office schemes (PPF, SSY, NSC, MIS, RD, and more)
  • Everyday tools — percentage, age, discount, and land area conversion
  • Guides & FAQs — plain-English explanations, formulas, and worked examples on every page

How we work

Every calculator uses published formulas and commonly accepted rates for India. We explain the maths, show examples in rupees, and link related tools so you can compare options — for example, home loan EMI vs car loan EMI, or old tax regime vs new. Our content is written for education and planning, not as a substitute for professional advice.

Who runs this site

CalcIndia is independently operated and maintained. We update calculators when tax rules or post office rates change, fix reported bugs promptly, and add new tools based on user feedback. You can reach us at[email protected] or through our contact page.

Important note

Calculator results are estimates for education and planning only. Banks, mutual fund houses, and the Income Tax Department may use slightly different rounding, fees, or rules.
